Today was the final day of the PSA Rotterdam Open. The ladies match between Tessa Ter Sluis and Christina Tartarone started with Tessa on fire. With spectacular attacking shots Tessa took the first game. In the second game Christina started to take control over the game. She lost her nerfs and overcame her fatigue of the semi-finals. She took control over the match and took game 2. In the remainder of the match Christina remained her dominance in the match. She clearly won with 3-1.
The men’s game, between Ivan Perez and Elijah Thomas started with a very long first game (23 minutes). As if the 2 players hadn’t played long matches on Friday and Saturday. Ivan just took the first game. The 2nd game was also a lengthy one (21 minutes). Both players showed great skills and patience. Again Ivan won that game. In the 3rd game it looked like Ivan was going to win 3-0, but Elijah survived 2 matchballs. But after game 3 it was over and out for Elijah. Ivan took a quick 7-0 lead and didn’t let that slip. 3-1 to Ivan after 78 minutes.
So the winners of the PSA Rotterdam Open 2025 are Christina Tartarone and Ivan Perez. We hope to see you again in 2026.
